DJ 3000's "Hotel Oasiz" is part of the new sound of Motech Records. Not that Motech ever predicated itself on an established sound in the first place, but DJ 3000 (Franki Juncaj) has expanded not only the range of his own style, but also the styles of those he chooses to appear on his remix EPs.

San, the stunning vocalist from Japan's Antennasia, provides a lyrical symphony of vocal arrangement that draws you into the track before it even starts. While the original 12" version brings out San's depth, Detroit juggernaut Robert Hood provides a remix that directs the spotlight on San's vocals for the initial 2 minutes of his production. Building in his signature style, Hood's remix provides a Detroit footing to this distinct international collaboration.

Alexis Tyrel (alter ego of the Netherlands' Gideon Hommes) bathes San's vocals in a funky repertoire of synth production and vocal builds that lend a mystique to original work in his remix. Remixing a funky track and making it even more funky is a daunting task that Tyrel vanquishes with relative ease.

Also included on the "Hotel Oasiz" EP are the DJ 3000's full original mix, an instrumental mix and a "beatless" mix which is a gem for DJs working this into the mix.
