The opening track here can only leave the listener with a sense of the producer's reflective thought process whilst producing this album, but do not be completely deceived as the distinct DJ 3000 'get down and party' vibe is forever present as the album progresses, while still bearing a deep message for those willing enough to be enlightened.

Believe it or not, Motech Records celebrates its tenth year of existence, DJ, producer and label founder Franki Juncaj decided it was time to step out from behind his aliases and let the world see him for who he really is. Shedding the DJ 3000 persona around which he has gained worldwide following, Juncaj presents 'Invisible Moods', his fifth full length release on Motech Records. 'Invisible Moods' reflects Juncaj's evolution as a producer, stepping away from the heavy ethnic influence of the earliest Motech releases and stripping down his music to its dance floor origins.

Evidence of this new sound is readily apparent on 'Hotel Oasiz,' a collaboration featuring vocals from San of the Japanese duo Antennasia. Juncaj's superb arrangement coupled with San's dream-state vocals combine to create a fluid, electronic sound not previously associated with Motech Records releases. 'I’ll Be Around' reveals a progressive, uptempo feel that Juncaj has experimented with in previous releases, but never really fully committed to. This track burns with a classic dance floor feel that is sure to connect with listeners, DJs and dancers across the globe.

Moving on and 'Bukurosh Malësor' is a slight return to a production style that Juncaj's fans may find more familiar. The track, an Albanian classic originally written by Nikollë Nikprelaj, is an electronic makeover that features the haunting vocals of renowned Albanian lyricist Liria. 'Bukurosh Malësor' is a perfect example of the progression of Juncaj's production style that also includes a dash of the world sound from early Motech releases.

'You Can Run But You Can’t Hide' showcases perfectly the transition from the entity known as DJ 3000 to the producer known as Franki Juncaj. This dance floor burner is equal parts progression and funk and would fit comfortably in DJ sets around the world. 'The Pressure,' featuring Spain's own Fer Br, is another floor-centric composition that shows glimpses of a funkier, sample tinged production style exhibited by Juncaj.

Closing out the LP is 'So Shiek,' a mixed pot of dance centric bass lines and live percussive and ethnic instrumentation that takes the listener on a night ride across ancient lands. The track, which features Mezé, is the perfect close to the exhibition of progression and uptempo styles that Juncaj is attempting to put forth with 'Invisible Moods.'

For an established artist to shed an alias that is recognized worldwide is a bold and daring move. However, Juncaj stands confident behind the idea that his style and production speak louder and clearer than any alias that he could hide behind. The release of the 'Invisible Moods' LP represents a dramatic shift in style and representation for the Motech Records label. It is a shift that Juncaj and the label are sure that the rest of the world will continue to back and follow based on the idea that quality production and musical output trumps image any day of the week.
