Marking Motech's next foray into the digital world is Japan's DJ Compufunk. Compufunk is no stranger to Motech Records, having released "The Last Samurai" EP (MT-011) and appearing on Motech's "Broken Research" complilation.

For centuries, regardless of political, financial, or religious borders, music has served as a universal language. Two people who are unable to understand each other's native tongue can relate through the tonal language of one's music. "Ishin-Denshin" appeals to this soul-to-soul, mind-to-mind style of communication.
 
"Orbit" captures our fascination with the night sky that looms above us. It is easy for us to peer up and see each individual star and boundless space. However, consider the image you would see if you were on the other end. You see one planet, Earth. Invisible from space are the lines of delineation that money, power and greed place on the land.
 
The Motech Records digitial release project focuses on introducing the world to the music of producers from around the world, both known and unknown. Using the global expanse of this medium, Motech aims to continue its move across the globe and into your backyard, wherever that may be.
